VIA holiday charity drive success

According to the IB Learner profile, one of the attributes that IB students strive for is being CARING. They learn to show empathy, compassion, and respect. They understand that we have a commitment to service, and we act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around us.

Our most recent Holiday Charity drive was an impressive display of generosity and community spirit in which, the VIA Community has once again demonstrated its commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Students and teachers collected an impressive 62 gift boxes, each filled with thoughtful selection of items for children and the elderly. This achievement is not just a number—it’s a symbol of the warmth. Gifts which were delivered to the collection center yesterday, are sure to bring joy and comfort to many during this holiday season.

The success of this initiative is a testament to the character of the VIA Community. It highlights our collective desire to contribute positively and make a real impact in the lives of those around us. Our students’ active involvement, particularly the exceptional efforts of Masha, Ema, and Maryam, along with the coordination by Ms. Chatwood, were instrumental in driving this initiative forward.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to each participant for your exceptional participation and generous contributions. Your efforts will bring smiles and warmth to many in the upcoming holidays.

Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a significant difference. Let’s carry forward this spirit of giving and continue to support each other and our community, one act of kindness at a time.
