VIA’s first MUN conference

This past term, VIA’s first Model United Nations club (MUN) made its debut at the MUNLaws conference, held at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana. After weeks of preparation, including public speaking practice and position paper writing, VIA’s first-time delegates were ready to take on the conference.

Competing alongside high school and university students from across Europe, we debated and negotiated major world issues to promote their countries’ agendas. Their efforts proved to be a success as two of our delegates, in year 10 and 11, received the “Most Improved” award in their respective committees. This was a great achievement for VIA’s MUN club and we look forward to our upcoming conference at Gimnazija Bežigrad.
